Clean, spacious, and serious burritos. Awesome lunch.
Just passing through the area and wanted a "Sort Ratings: High To Low" lunch and this place came up. Really helpful service, order at the counter, to-go or sit anywhere. Plenty of tables inside. Open kitchen in plain view; I'd say the place is cleaner and larger than your average taco shop.
Salsa bar was tidy and well-stocked, with a nice hot salsa and tasty green (tomatillo?) one for the shrimp. Spicy carrots and jalapenos at the bar as well -- crisp, well-flavored.
Most expensive burrito on the menu was $8.99 (Carne Asada, Shrimp, Potato, cream) and it was enormous. Fresh, flavorful, and served quick and hot. Good breakfast options for another day as well. Friendly staff. I'd put on some weight if I lived closer.
This is one of the best places for Mexican food in Escondido. Best chips hands-down!
Whether you're hungry for breakfast lunch or dinner, this is the spot!
Excellent! We'll definitely be back. The surf and turf chip s and asada fries are great. Owners are friendly and helpful.
